Apart from RAW and IB, many such agencies work round the clock for the security of India by identifying the enemies sitting outside and inside the country.

Many Research and Analysis Wing RAW works for the security and peace of India inside and outside the country. At the same time, the name of IB working inside the country is quite common. But apart from these two agencies, many such investigation and intelligence agencies have been formed whose main work is to investigate those who disrupt the peace and security of the country and take action against them. Along with the soldiers deployed on the border, these are such agencies, which have saved the country from big threats. Let us know about some such top security agencies of the country.

National Investigation Agency (NIA)

NIA was formed after the Mumbai attacks of December 31, 2008. The main work of this agency is to handle matters related to terrorism. This agency was formed to closely investigate terrorist attacks, funding terrorism, and all matters related to it.

National Technical Research Organization (NTRO)

NTRO was formed in the year 2004. Its main job is to coordinate to collect intelligence from other countries and then provide all the necessary information to the country. In 2014, a very big operation was carried out through the intelligence provided by this agency.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)

NCB was formed in the year 1986. The job of NCB is to deal with cases related to illegal drug trafficking. To prevent drug smuggling and its misuse in India, this agency runs many big operations in coordination with BSF Punjab Border.

Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)

DIA was formed in the year 2002. It collects intelligence related to defense in the country and abroad and alerts the defense system of the country. Directorate of Signals Intelligence, Defense Image Processing and Analysis Center and Defense Information Warfare work under this agency.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)

CBI was formed on 1 April 1963. It is one of the important central investigation agencies of India. Along with matters related to national security, this agency also investigates many complex and urgent cases. Its members are trained through many different departments.

Enforcement Directorate (ED)

Enforcement Directorate takes action against economic crimes in India and plays an important role in in-depth investigation in cases related to corruption. Along with this, it also works to implement economic laws in the country.
