Exam Date for BPSC 70th: The 70th Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC 70th CCE) has been postponed by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The test, which was originally set for November, has been moved to December. The preliminary examination (PT), which was originally scheduled for November 17, is now reportedly scheduled for December 13 and 14.

The BPSC said that the test had to be postponed due to “unavoidable reasons” in a letter sent to all district magistrates. The BPSC recruitment test is scheduled to take place at many locations around the state, with over 8 lakh aspirants anticipated to take it. To decide the test locations, the BPSC has asked local authorities for information on the availability of basic utilities.

Last month, the BPSC 70th notice was released, and registration will open on September 28, 2024. Until October 18, eligible candidates may register. The Commission will not accept applications that are received after the closing date. Candidates will be chosen depending on how well they do in the main test, interview round, and preliminary exam.

The goal of this hiring campaign is to fill 1,957 roles, including those of Assistant Director, District Minority Welfare Officer, Sugarcane Officer, Sub Divisional Officer/Senior Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Commandant, Superintendent, Sub Registrar, Sub Election Officer, Assistant Director, Assistant Planning Officer, Additional District Transport Officer, and several other positions.
