Along with this, 106 senior doctors of RG Medical College have already resigned en masse. The doctors who have resigned have supported the demands of the junior doctors who are fasting.
Many senior doctors of many other hospitals of Kolkata have already resigned. The government has been warned by NRS Medical College. If action is not taken within 24 hours, the senior doctors there have also said that they will resign. The doctors of Sagardatta Medical College are also going to take the same decision.
Senior doctors of Calcutta Medical College had warned of 'public resignation' on Tuesday. On Wednesday, 75 senior doctors there signed their resignations. After that, senior doctors of National Medical also followed that path. On Wednesday, 35 doctors resigned from Calcutta National Medical College.

We support all the legitimate demands of the agitating junior doctors. They are protesting for justice in the RG tax case. Some people are on hunger strike.
They said that We request the government to fulfill their demands. We are concerned about the physical condition of the hunger strikers. The physical condition is worsening day by day. We want the government to give priority to their health and accept their demands soon.
On Wednesday, 106 senior doctors of RG Kar Hospital tendered their resignation. Gradually that flame is spreading to the districts beyond the limits of Kolkata. At least 50 senior doctors have given 'mass resignation' at North Bengal Medical College on Wednesday. Preparations are going on for the resignation of senior doctors in Medinipur Medical College.
