Aajkal Webdesk : ATM fraud again in Karnataka state. A senior citizen withdraws Rs 10,000 from an ATM. After withdrawing money, he again uses his ATM card to check his account balance. 

Just then a person entered the ATM. He helped the old man. Then the old man returned to his house. But when he was on the road, he received an SMS from the bank again. Two and a half lakh rupees were withdrawn from his bank. 

A few days ago, an incident happened with another senior citizen. After he withdrew 1000 rupees from the ATM, an unknown person helped him. After that the fraudsters withdrew 99 thousand rupees from his account. 

Police are investigating two cases. Police said fraudsters are changing the ATM card on the pretext of helping an elderly person when he goes to the ATM. After that, this cycle is getting its work very easily. If the senior citizen is not alerted then this incident cannot be prevented.
