The Indian Railways Transport Department keeps coming up with new projects for the convenience of passengers. People in India like to travel by train because it is budget-friendly as well as convenient. Till now, many such trains have been started by the Indian Railways, in which the budget of the common citizens has also been kept in mind. Keeping this in mind, now the Indian Railways has planned to bring the Vande Bharat Train according to the budget of the common citizens.

Till now you could travel long distances only by sitting in the Vande Bharat train. This is the fastest train in India. There was no facility for lying down in it, but now the work of the Vande Bharat sleeper train has also started. Vande Bharat train is more expensive than the normal AC train because the facilities available in it are not available in other trains.

Who will benefit from the sleeper version of Vande Bharat?

• The Sleeper Vande Bharat train can start next year. Work on it is almost complete. The first Vande Bharat sleeper train will start from New Delhi and will go to Srinagar. Passengers will now be able to travel lying down on this train.
• India may get its first Vande Bharat sleeper train by January 2025.
• With this train, you will cover a distance of 800 kilometers in 13 hours.
• After Srinagar, it will be operated till Baramulla.

Through which stations will the first Vande Bharat sleeper train pass

• Vande Bharat Sleeper train may have more stations than other Vande Bharat trains.
• It will pass through Delhi and stop at Ambala Cantt Junction, followed by Ludhiana Junction, Kathua, Jammu Tawi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Sangaldan, and Banihal.
• The train is said to start running from New Delhi at 7 pm.
• Vande Bharat Sleeper train will leave from New Delhi at 7 pm and reach Srinagar at 8 am.

What kind of coaches will be there in the first Vande Bharat sleeper train?

• Unlike other trains, Vande Bharat Express will also have the option of 3AC, 2AC, and 1AC coaches in its sleeper coach.
• The price of a third AC coach can be around Rs 2000.
• 2AC and 3AC are a little more expensive. Their fares can range from Rs 2500 to Rs 3000.
