Telangana Minister Konda Surekha had commented a few days ago about the personal matter of actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, due to which she now seems to be in trouble. In this case, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has filed a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore against Minister Konda Surekha. On Thursday, Nampally Court of Hyderabad sent a notice against Konda Surekha and sought her reply for her comment.
Nagarjuna said in his complaint that Konda Surekha's comment is completely false. Along with this, he also said that this comment is bad for the image of his entire family. Konda Surekha had commented on the divorce of Samantha- Naga Chaitanya. While issuing the notice, the court said that now this case will be heard on October 23. Earlier, the court had extended the case till October 14. Along with Nagarjuna, many actors of Telugu industry raised their voice against such remarks.
In fact, in a conversation with the media on October 2, Konda Surekha had given a controversial statement regarding the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Prabhu. Konda Surekha had claimed that the divorce between the two happened because of BRS leader KT Rama Rao. On this statement of Surekha, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Prabhu made it clear that their divorce was the decision of both of them.
However, when the matter escalated, Konda Surekha apologized. Surekha said, “I take back my words, my intention was not to hurt anyone's sentiments. I personally keep praising Samantha, the way she has moved forward in her life after divorce, she impresses people a lot.” Reacting to this matter, Samantha issued her statement saying that do not comment about his personal life and keep his name away from your political battles.
