Hanuman Ji is a god who is immortal. He has been blessed that even Kaliyug will not be able to harm the devotee who comes to Hanuman ji. Hanuman ji removes the troubles of those who worship him with complete devotion.

Through this article, we are going to tell you about an interesting story related to Hanumanji which you may not be aware of. Usually, Hanumanji did not use a mace in war but used punches.

In Ramcharitmanas, Hanuman ji is called "Mahavir". In the scriptures, the word "Veer" has been used for many people. Like Bhima, Bhishma, Meghnath, Ravana, etc. But the word "Mahavir" is used only for Hanuman ji.

According to the scriptures, Indra's "Airavat" has the strength of 10,000 elephants. "Digpal" has the strength of 10,000 Airavats. Indra has a strength of 10,000 Digpals. But according to the scriptures, Hanuman ji's smallest finger has the strength of 10,000 Indras.

According to this incident, Ravana's son Meghnath was very afraid of Hanumanji's punch. When Ravana heard this about Hanumanji, he said to Hanumanji, "Your punch is very powerful, come and try it on me too, I will punch you once and you punch me."

Then Hanumanji said, "Okay! You hit me first." Ravana said, "Why should I? You hit me first." Hanuman said, "You hit me first because after getting hit by my punch, you will not be able to hit me."

After this, Ravana first punched Hanuman ji. This incident is confirmed by this quatrain "Seeing the son of wind, Dhaiyu started speaking harsh words. He came and killed the monkey with a fierce punch".

Hanuman ji fell to his knees due to the impact of Ravana, he did not fall on the ground but he stood up, filled with anger. Ravana is the symbol of attachment and the punch of attachment is so strong that even the best of saints fall to their knees. Then after that Hanuman ji punched Ravana. After his punch, Ravana fell down as if a mountain fell due to the impact of a thunderbolt. He went unconscious and started praising the strength of Hanuman ji.

Hearing the praise, Hanuman ji, instead of being happy, said, "Shame on my manliness, shame on me, and shame on me too, O enemy of the gods! You remained alive."

That means Raavan was alive even after being punched by Hanuman Ji. Raavan was a symbol of attachment and only Lord Shri Ram could kill him. This quatrain confirms this

"I woke up after fainting. The ape's strength was greatly appreciated; I praise my bravery. If you were alive, you enemy of the enemy".
