IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians set to appoint THIS T20 World Cup star as bowling coach

New Delhi: All the teams have started preparations for IPL 2025. The mega auction is to be held in the last week of November. BCCI has also issued retention rules for this. The franchises have to submit the names of the retained players by October 31. Before this the teams have started strengthening themselves. In this sequence the 5-time winning team Mumbai Indians has made a big decision.

Mumbai Indians have roped in former India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey. However official confirmation is yet to be made. The five-time IPL champions already have legends like Sri Lankan great pacer Lasith Malinga and 80s Indian fast bowler TA Sekar. Now the franchise will benefit from Parag Mhambreys experience. He was associated with Mumbai Indians since the inauguration of IPL in 2008 till 2015. Now the return of Paras Mhambrey is important for the team.

Under Paras the Indian cricket team reached the finals of the 2023 ODI World Cup. After that it won the T20 World Cup 2024. Parag Mhambrey has played an important role in grooming players like Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami. His return to the Mumbai franchise will take the franchises bowling to new heights in the upcoming IPL 2025.
Rahul Dravid and Vikram Rathore will also be seen in IPL:
Apart from Paras head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathore who played a significant role in the T20 World Cup will also be seen in the IPL. Dravid has been made the coach of Rajasthan Royals. At the same time Vikram is associated with him as an assistant coach. Dravid has previously been the captain and mentor of Rajasthan Royals.
