There is no reduction in the crimes against women and minor girls in the country. Every day we get to hear such cases from somewhere or the other. A similar case has now come from Haldwani city of Uttarakhand. A case of gang rape of a minor has come to light in the Mukhani police station area here. 

According to the news, in Haldwani city, two youths took a minor to a mango orchard and committed the shameful crime of gang rape on her. After gang-raping the minor, both of them left her in the orchard and fled. The victim's mother has complained to the police in this regard. The police have registered a case and arrested one accused and sent him to jail. The other accused is absconding.

The girl had gone to a Jagran program going on in the Paniyali area.

On the complaint of the girl's mother, the police said that on 7 October, the 15-year-old minor girl had gone to a Jagran program in the Paniyali area. While returning home at around 11:30 pm, two youths dragged her into a garden. After this, both of them gagged the girl and gang-raped her one by one. After this, both the accused fled from there. 

A case has been filed against the neighbors.

The minor informed her mother about the incident after reaching home. The victim's mother has filed a rape case against neighbors Ashish (23) and Himanshu (24). The police are searching for the second accused.
