Rain is expected in the Bay of Bengal next week due to another low pressure region, according to AP

Residents of the Telugu states are in for a harsh warning from the meteorological department, as they will likely experience heavy rains as a result of an approaching low-pressure system that is building in the Bay of Bengal. This incident happened not long after a recent typhoon hit the area.

By October 20, surface circulation is expected to develop in the North Andaman Sea, according to meteorological specialists. After that, around October 22, a low-pressure region is predicted to form in the West Central Bay of Bengal. According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) prediction, this storm is expected to proceed toward the northwest and intensify, resulting in moderate to heavy rainfall in some areas of Andhra Pradesh beginning on October 21.

The disaster management agency has issued a warning, stating that when the low-pressure region forms on October 22, rain is expected to continue for four days straight in Andhra Pradesh, with an increase in rain intensity expected.

Authorities in Telangana are also anticipating a lot of rain. Adilabad, Komuram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Janagam, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Mahbubagar, Nagar Kurnool, Vanaparthi, Narayana Peta, and Gadwal are among the districts that have been issued a rain alert.

In certain parts of Hyderabad city, moderate rainfall is also predicted, and winds as high as 30 to 40 km/h are predicted. In light of these upcoming weather conditions, residents are advised to keep informed about weather warnings and to proceed with prudence.
