Anant Singh has been MLA from Mokama.
Anant Singh is counted among the powerful leaders of Bihar. The people of Mokama also call them Chhote Sarkar. Anant Singh is a resident of Barh, Bihar. Won MLA election from Mokama on JDU ticket in 1990 and 1995. However, he lost to Surajbhan Singh in the 2000 elections. A case was registered against Anant Singh on 16 August 2019. AK 47 rifle and two hand grenades were recovered from his house. It was alleged that the AK 47 rifle belonged to Anant Singh.
