Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threat, has fired 24 of its employees. Meta has given a very strange reasoning behind firing the employees whom it has shown the way out.
Actually, Meta gives food vouchers to its employees to eat food during office hours. In which Meta alleges that the employees who have been thrown out have used the food vouchers in the wrong place.
Metra gives its employees $25 vouchers for lunch, $20 for breakfast and $25 for dinner. Which some employees have used at the wrong place. Because of which Meta fired 24 of its employees.
According to the information, Meta employees have lost their jobs because they bought toothpaste, washing powder, acne pads and household items with the food vouchers given by the company. According to the report, those who occasionally violated the rules were reprimanded, but those employees who did not comply even after warnings were shown the way out by Meta.
Some of the employees who have been fired by Meta have alleged that no warning was given to them by Meta. Also, some employees said that they had stopped using these food vouchers three months ago, but still Meta took action against them.
