A state source says that the number of deaths in Bihar’s Siwan area has now reached 28.

An officer in charge of public relations for Siwan’s district said that 79 people have been accepted so far.
Eight people are being treated at Sadar Hospital Siwan right now. “Thirteen people who were very sick were sent to PMCH for treatment,” he said.

Thirty people have been safely sent home from the hospital so far.

He also said that autopsies had been done on the 28 people and that their bodies had been given to their families.

Also, the hospitals have been told to stay on high watch for the next 24 hours. A government source also said that the District Officer in the hit panchayats had set up more cars.

The Bihar government has been criticized by the opposition in the state, which says that the strategy of banning alcohol has not worked.

Manoj Jha, an RJD MP, said, “The number of deaths has gone over 25.” In this terrible case too, the government wanted to mess up the data… Where is the CM? Who is in charge of the state? The deaths won’t stop. People who can’t defend themselves are going to jail because of a ban on alcohol… Tejashwi Yadav was right when he said, “This is a business, a gang…”

On Friday, Vijay Kumar Sinha, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, said that the government was very upset about what happened.
“Those who make this kind of environment will not get away with it.” People who are behind this are also being looked into by the government. Their faces will also be shown, and those who are threatening the lives of Bihar’s poor people will not be saved at all costs.

He said that people who work in the booze business can run for RJD. “The ban on alcohol was put in place with everyone’s agreement.” “Everyone should work together to fully carry it out, and the game of saving these criminals should end,” he said.
