‘Pay ₹5 crore.’ Salman Khan gets new death threat after Baba Siddique’s death

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a new threat, this time it was sent to Mumbai Traffic Police. According to Indian news agency ANI, the threat was sent to a WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police.
The sender demanded Rs 5 crore from the actor, claiming it would end the actor's conflict with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The new threat comes days after the shocking murder of Khan's close friend and NCP politician Baba Siddique. New threat to Salman Khan In the new threat sent to the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police, the money has been demanded in return for the actor's safety and to end his conflict with Bishnoi. Khan has been threatened with severe consequences than Siddiqui, if the money is not given to them. "Don't take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay ₹5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique," the sender said in a threat, reported ANI.  
  The sender has claimed to be close to the Bishnoi gang, as per ANI. Soon after receiving the threat, Mumbai Police started investigating the case. However, another report claims that Mumbai police took this threat as a prank.   Security beefed up outside Salman Khan's residence On Oct 12, Baba Siddique, a renowned politician who was known for his close connection with Bollywood stars, was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's Bandra area. Nothing has been confirmed about who was behind the shooting. However, Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case. Four people have been arrested in connection with the shooting incident. Siddique was a close friend of Salman and since his death, the actor's security has been beefed up as a precautionary measure. Khan has received several death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang in recent years. Death threats to Salman Khan In recent years, Khan and his father Salim Khan have received several death threats, allegedly from the Bishnoi gang. In April, two bike-borne assailants fired multiple rounds of gunshots outside Khan's Mumbai home Galaxy Apartments in Bandra area. Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, reportedly took responsibility for the firing, calling the incident the 'first and last warning'.
