Telugu Titans: On the first night of PKL Season 11, Pawan Sehrawat, who is known for his energetic style, stunned everyone by leading his side to a convincing 37-29 victory against the Bengaluru Bulls at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
Telugu Titans’ skipper Pawan Sehrawat scored the team’s first raid point to give them the first point of Season 11. He continued to add a few more raid points for his team, and the Telugu Titans quickly established a three-point lead, much to the delight of the Hyderabad audience. However, the Bengaluru Bulls and Pardeep Narwal rallied a few minutes later to cut the margin to just one point.
The Telugu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls were not conceding an inch to each other as the match went back and forth. Following a time-out, Pawan Sehrawat led the Telugu Titans in gaining momentum. With a score of 20-11 at the half, the Telugu Titans, encouraged by a full house, led the Bengaluru Bulls by 9 points.
Bengaluru Bulls came out of the blocks quicker than their opponents in the second half as the raiders took advantage of every chance and the defenders held Telugu Titans at bay. The first half’s nine-point advantage quickly evaporated, leaving a four-point deficit.
Midway through the second phase, the Bengaluru Bulls, led by Surinder Dehal and Pardeep Narwal, put Telugu Titans on the ropes with an All-Out. Ten minutes remained, and the score was 24-23, the deficit now just 1 point.
But the Telugu Titans retaliated after that. With plenty of help from players like Krishan, Vijay Malik, Sagar, and Ajit Pawar, Pawan Sehrawat scored ten points. Telugu Titans regained the initiative and jumped out to a 7-point lead in the next minutes. Pawan Sehrawat broke beyond the 1,000,000 point barrier shortly after finishing his Super 10, becoming him the third player in PKL history to do so.
