Many times a car breaks down while moving and this happens because we do not take proper care of the car. If you also want that the car does not stop midway, then you will have to keep some important things in mind. Today we will tell you why the car engine starts overheating and what could be the reasons behind it?

There can be not one or two but four reasons behind car engine overheating. Aftab Saifi, owner of SR Automobile, gives four reasons and also explains how you can avoid this problem.

Car Problem and Solutions: These are the four reasons

  • low coolant: The first reason behind engine overheating could be that there is a lack of coolant in the car or the coolant has run out. In this case the car engine starts overheating.
  • Fault in radiator: Another reason behind engine overheating could be a malfunction in the radiator. Even if the radiator gets blocked or dirty, in this case the engine may overheat and the vehicle may stall.
  • Servicing: Now you might be wondering how servicing can cause overheating? This happens because when we do not get the vehicle serviced on time, the engine oil in the car starts decreasing. Due to less oil, first the engine will overheat and then your car will stop. If you start the car again after it has been stopped, even if the car starts, within a few seconds the car may stop again and this time the engine may also seize.
  • Safety Valve: The fourth reason due to which the problem of engine overheating occurs is the problem in the safety valve. Even if the safety valve installed in the car is not working properly, in this situation the engine may overheat and your car may stop.

Car Overheat: How to avoid this problem?

Get the vehicle serviced regularly so that the engine oil and other parts are checked, if any part gets damaged then it can be changed during servicing. Apart from this, definitely check the coolant level before driving the car.
