The third round of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will see South Korea and Palestine play in Group B on November 19 at Amman International Stadium, the AFC said late on Friday, according to Yonhap News Agency.

On October 10, South Korea beat Jordan 2-0 in the same venue.

South Korea, under the direction of Hong Myung-bo, is leading Group B with ten points. South Korea has won three straight games after opening the third round with a goalless draw against Palestine in Seoul on September 5. The most recent victory came on Tuesday when South Korea defeated Iraq 3-2 at home.

In November, South Korea will travel for two away games. On November 14, they will play in Kuwait, and five days later, they will play in Palestine.

In the third round, there are three groups of six, and the top two countries in each group will get World Cup tickets. Teams in third and fourth place advance to the fourth round.

Since 1986, South Korea has participated in every World Cup held in Mexico.
