UP: Fear of leak of UPPSC paper in Bhadohi, case registered after audio goes viral

There is a possibility of the question paper of the technical examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, being leaked. In this case, an audio clip of an employee of the Indian Institute of Technology (IICT) has surfaced, in which he is asking an unknown person to buy and sell the exam question paper.

On the basis of this audio clip, the Director of IICT has sent a mail to the Public Service Commission demanding an investigation into this matter. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has registered a case in this matter at Bhadohi city police station. The Commission is to conduct examination on 8 subjects of UP Technical Education (Teaching-Teaching) Service Examination 2021 on October 20. The news of paper leak coming out just a few days before the exam is surprising in itself.

Immediate action demanded

Dharmendra Kumar Tripathi, Deputy Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, has registered a case under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 and Section 8 of Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance on October 16 in Bhadohi city police station. IICT Director has further written in the mail that on coming October 20, examination is to be conducted on 8 subjects of UP Technical Education (Teaching-Teaching) Service Examination 2021 by the Commission. For this reason immediate action has been demanded. The Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and the Director of IICT have demanded the police to take immediate action on this.

Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission said that the Commission is taking this matter very seriously and all necessary steps are being taken to investigate the matter. He said that the Commission will not take any risk to maintain the purity and fairness of the examination.

The concerns of the candidates have increased due to this video of buying and selling of papers going viral. Many teachers have condemned this matter and demanded an investigation. He said that due to such cases, the future of the students is being played with and their wait is being extended. However, no official statement has been issued yet by the district police in the above matter.
