As the bus slides into the sewer in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, three people are murdered

In the Siddharthnagar area of Uttar Pradesh on Friday evening, a bus plunged into a drain in an attempt to avoid striking a bike, resulting in three fatalities and over twenty-dozen injuries.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Prachi Singh, the police were notified at around 6.30 p.m. that a bus from Balrampur, which was headed to Siddharthnagar, had fallen into the Chargahwa drain under the Dhebaruwa police station area.

She stated that once a police team arrived on the scene, they were able to free the trapped people in the bus with the assistance of the locals. At the time of the accident, there were 53 passengers aboard the bus.

Three individuals, including an adolescent, perished in the tragedy, according to Singh.

According to her, the driver lost control of the bus while attempting to rescue a bicycle, which led to the tragedy. According to the SP, the dead have been identified as bus passengers Ajay Verma (14) and Gamma (65), as well as biker Mangani Ram (50).

Over twenty-six persons were hurt in the collision, according to police, and are being treated at CSC Barhdni and district hospital Siddharthnagar.

In a different instance, a traffic collision on Friday night in the Baghrai region of the Pratapgarh district wounded around 20 people.
