A sensational case of murder has come to light in a hotel in Kanpur. The young man staying in the hotel murdered the girl with him by slitting her throat. After committing the murder, the young man himself reached the police station and told the police that he had committed the murder. As soon as this was known, the police team reached the spot and started investigation.

Priyanshu Tripathi, a resident of Gujaini, had come to stay at Hotel Gagan Sagar under Feelkhana police station of Kanpur on Saturday afternoon with a girl resident of Ghatampur. Both of them checked in to hotel room 402 at around 2 pm. At around 4 in the evening, Priyanshu went out to have breakfast and reached the police station.

After reaching the police station, Priyanshu told the police that he had murdered his girlfriend by slitting her throat in the hotel room. On hearing this, the police team immediately reached the spot. DCP Shravan Kumar said that prima facie it has come to light that both were similar to each other. Why the young man committed the murder is being investigated. Police and forensic team are investigating on the spot.

DCP Shravan Kumar said that the family members of both are also being interrogated. It is being ascertained how long the two knew each other. According to the Aadhar card, the age of both is said to be around 22-23 years. The hotel staff told that while taking the room, both of them looked normal and their behavior was like that of husband and wife.

The police is also investigating what happened that the young man committed murder in the hotel room. Had he come with a plan in advance or something happened in the room that made the young man take such a big step.
