Mumbai: Big success for police in JJ shootout case, absconding shooter Tribhuvan Singh arrested from UP after 32 years

The Crime Branch has got a big success in the infamous JJ Hospital shootout case of Mumbai. Police have arrested absconding Shutter from a jail in Uttar Pradesh after 32 years. The name of the accused shooter is Tribhuvan Singh alias Pradhan alias Shripati Shrikant Rai, his age is about 62 years. Mumbai Crime Branch presented accused Tribhuvan Singh in the court. Where the court sent Tribhuvan to the custody of Mumbai Crime Branch till 25 October.

According to the police, Tribhuvan Singh was one of the main accused in the JJ shootout case. The process to arrest him had already been started. The police have finally succeeded in catching him.

Dawood Ibrahim's name came up in the shootout

The JJ shootout was allegedly masterminded by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Other names linked to this case include Subhash Singh Thakur and Brijesh Singh. Many people involved in this case have already been convicted.

Attack with AK 47 for the first time in the country

This shootout took place on 12 September 1992, in which Arun Gawli gang's shooter Shailesh was attacked. Dawood Ibrahim is said to be involved in this shootout. In this, for the first time in the country, Dawood had carried out an attack with AK 47. Police said that when JJ shootout took place, shooter Tribhuvan Singh was also present there.

Three people died in shootout

According to the information, Tribhuvan Singh had also fired several bullets from AK 47. For the first time in India, AK 47 was used by a gangster of any gang. This shootout was done to kill Arun Gawli gang member Shailesh Haldankar. Along with his death, two policemen were also killed in this.
