Bangladesh are all out for 106 in the BAN vs SA 1st Test at the Sher E Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, Mirpur on Monday (October 21). South Africa were terrific with the ball after being asked to field first by the home team with Kagiso Rabada, Wiaan Mulder and Keshav Maharaj sharing three wickets apiece and Dane Piedt chipping in with a wicket. During his three-wicket spell, Rabada became the fastest to 300 Test wickets in terms of balls bowled.

It was Mulder who started off the wicket-taking show for the Proteas and completely blew away the Bangladesh top-order. Mulder was the pick of the bowlers for the tourists. He finished with figures of 3/22 off his 8 overs. Piedt and Maharaj, the spin-bowling duo for South Africa shared four wickets between themselves with Maharaj managing 3 for 34 and Piedt scalping 1 for 19.

Mahmudul Hasan Joy top-scored for Bangladesh with 30 off 97 balls with Mushfiqur Rahim, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam being the only other Bangladesh batters to register double-digit scores.
