In the holy month of Kartik, devotees worship Lord Vishnu and the holy Tulsi plant. At this time Lord Vishnu wakes up from his cosmic sleep (Yoga Nidra). You must know that Tulsi is especially dear to Lord Vishnu, so you are advised to worship Tulsi during this time. Worshiping Tulsi is considered very important in Kartik. It brings happiness in life. By worshipping Tulsi daily, lighting a lamp, and doing parikrama, devotees receive the blessings of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and Tulsi Maa.

Tulsi rituals:

Offer water to Tulsi: On every day of Kartik, devotees should offer water to the Tulsi plant. Apart from this, you should also light a lamp in the Tulsi plant in the evening. This pleases Goddess Lakshmi.

Bathing with raw milk: Bathing with raw cow milk mixed with Ganga water every day in Kartik is considered auspicious. This also pleases Goddess Lakshmi and she showers her blessings.

Offer Tulsi to Lord Vishnu: Tulsi is dear to Lord Vishnu, so if you offer him any blog without Tulsi, it is considered incomplete. Therefore, during Kartik, Tulsi must be present in everything offered to Lord Vishnu. This brings special blessings from Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi.

Circumambulation of Tulsi: Circumambulation of the Tulsi plant should be done in Kartik. Devotees can circumambulate 7, 11, 21, 51 or 108 times. This brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to the house.

Tulsi Vivah: Tulsi Vivah is performed during Kartik. On this day, women offer traditional items associated with marital happiness - like bangles, sindoor, and toe rings - to the Tulsi plant and wrap them in a red cloth.
