Since ancient times, farmers have been given the status of God in India. But if we look at recent years, the farmers of the country are getting drowned in debt, it is becoming difficult to live life and understand the problems of the farmers, the Indian government has started various types of schemes, that aim to help these people and improve their lifestyle, one such scheme is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, through which eligible farmers get Rs 6000 annually in three installments of Rs 2000, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially released the 18th installment of this scheme on October 5, 2024.

Release date and amount:

The 18th installment will be released on October 5, 2024, in which each farmer will get ₹ 2,000.

Annual disbursement:

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers receive a total of ₹6,000 annually, divided into four installments.

Payment notification:

Farmers will receive a confirmation message on their registered mobile number once the installment is transferred. This message will be sent by both the bank and the government.

Ways to check payment status

Mobile notification: Check your registered mobile for messages indicating the transfer.

ATM mini statement: Visit your nearest ATM to print a mini statement showing the last 10 transactions, including the PM Kisan installment, if it has been deposited.

Visit a bank branch: If you cannot check through an ATM, visit your nearest bank branch to update your passbook.
