Development of Ujjain like Haridwar… CM Mohan Yadav’s announcement regarding Simhastha 2028

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held an important press conference regarding Simhastha 2028. He told the journalists that in Ujjain too, like Haridwar, sages, saints, Mahants, Akhara heads, Mahamandaleshwar will be allowed to build permanent ashrams. Ujjain is identified with sages and saints. Simhastha, which is organized once in 12 years, will be organized in 2028. The Chief Minister said that during this period, the saints and saints will need adequate space in Ujjain for coming and staying, organizing events like Katha, Bhagwat etc. Keeping this in mind, the state government has planned to build an ashram on priority.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a press conference regarding Simhastha at the Mela Office Auditorium in Ujjain today. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that just as good ashrams of saints and sages are built in Haridwar, in the same way in Ujjain also there are good ashrams of saints and sages. Efforts will be made to build a permanent ashram. This big plan will be given shape through Ujjain Development Authority. In view of Simhastha, permanent infrastructure will also be created for basic facilities like roads, electricity, drinking water, drainage.

Action plan of religious city ready

Chief Minister Yadav said that an action plan has been prepared in collaboration with all public representatives to develop Ujjain as a religious city. All types of four-lane, six-lane bridges etc. permanent infrastructure development work will be done. Along with the development of all basic facilities, the work of construction of ashram for saints will be done parallelly. Priority will also be given to the operation of public activities like food fields, dharamshala, ashram, medical center, Ayurveda center etc. through interested Sanatan Dharma followers of the society.

Rules ready for building ashram for saints

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that rules have been made to make ashrams for saints and sages. The building can be constructed only on a plot of 5 bighas. The remaining 4 bigha plot will remain open, in which there will be enough open space for arrangements like parking etc. This permission will be given only to sages, saints, Mahants, Akhara heads, Mahamandaleshwar. This type of permission will not be given for personal and commercial use.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a large number of devotees come to Ujjain since the creation of Mahakal Mahalok. Religious events continue here continuously. In such a situation, this scheme will prove to be very beneficial for religious followers. Keeping this in mind, the entire plan has been prepared.

In-principle approval of Indore-Ujjain Metro

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the tender process for Ujjain-Indore six lane work has also been done. Bhoomipujan of Ujjain-Javra green field four lane road will be done soon. Similarly, under the mega plan, Indore, Ujjain Dhar, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur etc. will be developed. Development work will be done keeping in mind the religious nature of Ujjain.

The Chief Minister said that in-principle approval has also been given to operate the Indore-Ujjain metro train. Along with this, Circle Vande Metro train will also be operated connecting Ujjain, Dewas, Fatehabad, Indore. Whose speed will be higher than the metro train. All routes originating from Ujjain will be four-lane. The existing airstrip will also be upgraded to become a technical airport. So that Ujjain can also get air transport facility for 12 months.
