Salman Khan's life is currently in danger from Lawrence Bishnoi. His close friend Baba Siddiqui has also been murdered. Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for this. Salman has also received threats recently.

However, on one hand, Salman's enemy is Lawrence, and on the other hand, there is also Lawrence, who made a great film of his career. This person is director Lawrence D'Souza.

Mithaiwala Lawrence

The struggle of this brother has also been amazing. Earlier he used to work at a sweet shop. After this he worked as a mechanic. Assisted the cameraperson. He himself became DOP. After this it was time to sit on the director's chair. Made his first film as a director 'Nyay Aayij'. Case not settled. After this 'Saajan' came and the car started moving. Salman Khan was in 'Saajan'. Sanjay Dutt was also with him. This was the highest grossing film of the year 1991.

The songs of 'Saajan' were very popular. Many songs like 'Dekha Hai Pehli Baar', 'Bahut Pyaar Karte Hain', 'Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai' became the life of this film. These songs which became popular among the people also helped in making the film a hit.

Aamir Khan must be regretting even today!

Well, Lawrence started his second film as a director. For this, the producers had already cast Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Lawrence and producer Sudhakar Bokade wanted Aamir Khan to be the third lead in the film. Sudhakar came to Aamir Khan to narrate the story. He did not understand Aman's role much. He asked to show Lawrence's old work. On this Sudhakar replied to Aamir that he is not investing money on him, but on Lawrence. After this Aamir withdrew from the film.

The film reached Sanjay Dutt. He had not done any such role before. All his characters were action oriented. For the first time he got a shy and emotional character. But Dutt did complete justice to it. Lawrence also agreed that it was good that Aamir did not play the role of Aman. What Sanju did with Aman, Aamir could not have done.

Lawrence had already guessed

However, director Lawrence D'Souza had already realized that 'Saajan' would be a hit. Before the release of 'Saajan', three trial shows were held in Mumbai. Lawrence arrived in one of these. There he saw that people were clapping and whistling on every scene and song of the film. Money is being wasted. It was from here that he realized that the picture was going to be a big hit, and it happened further.

'Saajan' became the biggest film of 1991. The Hindi film, made with a budget of Rs 4 crore, did a business of more than Rs 18 crore. It remained in theaters for 75 weeks.
