The accused resisted and the policeman bit his finger, so he punched her in the face, breaking one of her teeth in the process. The accused was taken into custody by the police on Sunday after she filed a complaint.

According to the female constable, the event happened at approximately 7 PM when she was going to her in-laws’ residence. It is said that she was assaulted by her drunken neighbor Dharmendra Paswan, also called Kallu, who took advantage of the dark, desolate location. He pulled her by the hair into a neighboring millet field, where the attack happened in spite of her screams.

The female officer retaliated during the scuffle by biting his finger and clawing his face. Dharmendra struck her in the mouth in retaliation, shattering one of her teeth. The accused left the area when the locals saw her shouts.

Following the assault, the female police officer visited the Pali police station with her family. Sen West Para Koriyan Chowki, the location of the incident, was the address given to them. On Sunday, the police there filed a complaint and took Paswan into custody.

In line with the constable’s report, Paswan had bite marks on his finger and scratches on his face, according to police station in-charge Gautam Singh. Police are looking into the event, and appropriate action will be taken next.
