This rigorous summer program, which is being launched in India for the first time, intends to bridge the essential skill gap that students pursuing degrees in subjects like computer science, information technology, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI/ML), and electronics and communication engineering (ECE) confront. The program provides students with a concentrated 5-week study module that earns them a coveted NAU certification and prepares them for postgraduate possibilities at top US colleges.

Students may choose to take part in a hybrid learning approach under this project, finishing some coursework in India and pursuing their education at NAU’s cutting-edge campus in the United States. This strategy enhances students’ global learning experience by providing useful cross-cultural exposure in addition to increasing accessibility to international education.

In highlighting the importance of this program, Dr. VSK Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Malla Reddy University, said, “This program is a remarkable opportunity for our students to enhance their skills and evolve into industry-ready professionals.” Through the process of bridging the knowledge gap between academics and practitioners, it gives them the advantage they need to thrive in a highly competitive global marketplace. As part of our mission to promote leadership and innovation at Malla Reddy University, this partnership establishes new standards for both industry alignment and academic quality.

Transformative subjects including computer science, electronics and communication, information technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) are the emphasis of NAU’s Summer School. These fields are becoming more and more in demand in fields like automation, electronics, artificial intelligence, and IT. Hyderabad is the perfect starting point for this innovative project since it is the hub of IT and technical innovation in India.

Mr. Cesar Flores, Associate Vice Provost for Global Affairs at NAU, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Risaya Academy to bring this opportunity to Indian students.” “This program not only encourages academic excellence but also gives students access to cutting-edge resources and world-class faculty at NAU.”

Students may easily go from classroom study in India to advanced studies in the USA with NAU’s 4-year BTech programs in Computer Engineering and Immersive Media and Game Design. While the Immersive Media course focuses on future technologies in AR/VR, wearables, and gaming solutions—fields that are set for exponential expansion globally—the Computer Engineering program trains students to meet the needs of the electronics and manufacturing sectors.

According to Rathish Babu, CEO of Risaya Academy, “this collaboration gives Indian students a unique chance to upskill and align themselves with the global workforce.” “NAU is the ideal partner for this initiative because of its standing as a leader in research and innovation.”

Indian students may now apply to NAU’s summer school and part-study programs. Students who complete the five-week Summer School program in July 2025 will have the opportunity to earn academic credits and get a NAU certification. For further information, interested students should visit the websites of Risaya Academy and NAU.

By launching this innovative program, Northern Arizona University and Risaya Academy are not only setting new standards for international education, but they are also laying the groundwork for the next generation of innovators and engineers to succeed globally. The relationship reflects a dedication to high academic standards and international cooperation while providing students with the knowledge and opportunities necessary to take charge in a quickly changing technology environment. This is just the start of a journey that has the potential to revolutionize innovation and education in the future.
