The relationship between Fox NFL Sunday host Terry Bradshaw and Aaron Rodgers is notably frosty after the former Pittsburgh Steelers great dubbed the four-time MVP a "liar."

In 2021, the controversy around Rodgers peaked when he ambiguously claimed he was "immunised" leading many to believe he had received his COVID-19 vaccinations. However, Rodgers, who had not been vaccinated, was referring to a treatment prescribed by his doctor.

The situation escalated in November when Rodgers had to quarantine for 10 days following a positive COVID-19 test, the mandated period for an unvaccinated player according to the league's rules at the time. It caused him to miss the Green Bay Packers' game against the Kansas City Chiefs, creating a furore.

Despite the backlash, Rodgers secured his second MVP title in a row, achieving what Peyton Manning last did in 2008 and 2009. Bradshaw, never one to mince words, ripped into Rodgers' post-positive test, offering some blunt advice on national television.

"I'd give Aaron Rodgers some advice," Bradshaw said. "It would have been nice if he had just come to the Naval Academy and learned how to be honest.

"Learn not to lie because that's what you did, Aaron. You lied to everyone. I understand immunized. What you were doing was taking stuff that would keep you from getting COVID-19. You got COVID-19. Ivermectin is a cattle dewormer. Sorry folks, that's what it is.

"We are a divided nation politically. We're a divided nation on the COVID-19 whether or not to take the vaccine, and unfortunately, we've got players that pretty much only think about themselves - and I'm extremely disappointed in the actions of Aaron Rodgers."

With Bradshaw joining Fox NFL Sunday's presentation team in Week 7, all eyes were on Aaron Rodgers as his New York Jets lost to the Steelers. The legendary Bradshaw, with his 14 seasons and four Super Bowl titles for Pittsburgh, coupled with an MVP award under his belt, isn't holding back his criticism.

Amidst the controversy, Rodgers could not secure a victory over the Steelers, leaving the Jets 2-5, teetering on the brink of falling out of contention in the AFC playoff race during a worrying losing streak.

Furthermore, with Davante Adams, formerly of the Packers, now with the New York side after a major trade deal, the spotlight is intensifying for Rodgers to step up his game and steer the Jets towards success in the AFC East.
