The most important thing is that there is neither much hassle in making it nor do you need to buy expensive dry fruits or mangoes from the market. Let us tell you the easiest recipe to make it.

Ingredients for making peanut barfi

How to make peanut barfi

  • – First of all, grind the roasted peanuts finely in the mixer. Keep in mind that peanut powder should not be too fine, the particles should be less.
  • – Add jaggery and milk in a non-stick pan and heat it on medium flame. Keep stirring it continuously until the jaggery dissolves completely.
  • Then when the jaggery melts completely, add peanut powder and ghee to it and mix well.
  • Cook the mixture, stirring continuously, until it thickens and starts separating from the sides of the pan.
  • – Now turn off the gas and add cardamom powder to the mixture and mix well.
  • – Put desi ghee in a plate or tray. – Now spread this mixture in a plate and smooth it with a spoon. Garnish with chopped almonds and cashews.
  • – Now let the barfi cool completely and then cut the barfi into desired shapes and serve.
