The first players to score were Arjun Deshwal of the Jaipur Pink Panthers and Pawan Sehrawat of the Telugu Titans. Following the example of their captains, both sides proceeded to exchange points throughout the first half’s initial phase. With the captain doing the most of the heavy lifting, the Telugu Titans lead by two points after the first ten minutes of what began as a competitive contest, much to the delight of the Hyderabad audience.

As the half progressed, Arjun Deshwal was matching his opposite number point for point, but the Telugu Titans managed to maintain their lead. Before Abhijeet Malik’s Super Raid placed the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the box seat, Pawan Sehrawat was receiving excellent assistance from Ashish Narwal and Vijay Malik of the Telugu Titans. The Jaipur Pink Panthers ended the first half with a score of 18–13 in their favor after Arjun Deshwal gave the Telugu Titans an ALL OUT shortly after.

Initially, both teams adopted a conservative strategy in the second half. The Jaipur Pink Panthers wanted to increase their advantage, while the Telugu Titans wanted to close the gap. Arjun Deshwal, the captain of the Jaipur Pink Panthers, was playing brilliantly and had already finished his Super 10. Halfway through the second half, Reza Mirbagheri gave the Telugu Titans an all-out, greatly increasing the Jaipur Pink Panthers’ advantage. The Jaipur Pink Panthers had a 16-point lead and were in control of the game with less than ten minutes remaining.

Defender Ankush Rathee put an ALL OUT on the Telugu Titans as the game entered its final phase, ending any prospects of a comeback. Following that, Lucky Sharma gave the Telugu Titans another ALL OUT. The Jaipur Pink Panthers ultimately prevailed by a commanding 30-point margin.
