Lucky Bisht, who has medium height and simple personality, was born in Gangolihat in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Lucky started taking commando training at the age of 16. He spent two and a half years in Israel as a RAW agent. Lucky has worked in the security of Narendra Modi throughout his career. He also received the award for India's Best NSG Commando in the year 2009.
Lucky told about his journey in an interview given in Lallantop. He told that some people consider him a RAW agent. Some consider him a commando while there are others who consider Lucky a gangster. Lucky said that he does not care what anyone thinks about him. Lucky told that he had to spend more than three years in jail because of a case. During this time, many things happened to him in jail which were shocking. Lucky told that later due to lack of evidence, he was given a clean chit in the year 2018. Lucky retired from RAW in 2019 and then he started his Bollywood career from 2019 itself.
Lucky Bisht entered Bollywood after retirement from RAW. He debuted in the film industry as a writer. In a podcast he told why he chose the path of the film industry. Lucky told that he no longer wants to do this work and wants to take rest. Senior asked what will you do then, you don't know anything, then Lucky said that he will write stories for films. Explaining the reason behind this, he said that when he was in jail, he did nothing but watched movies. There is hardly any film which has survived from him.
