The 18-hole Jammu Tawi Golf Course was created by Col. K. D. Bagga, who is known all over the world for his work. The first day of the course was April 24, 2011. This beautiful golf course is in a valley next to the river Tawi, just off of National Highway 1A, which runs from Jammu to Srinagar. Two large and three small bodies of water, as well as a water path that is about 3200 meters long, make up the course. The greens are about 6600 meters long.

This impressive project, the Jammu Tawi Golf Course, was built by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to promote golf tourism and teach young boys and girls how to become expert golfers.
