District Collector K Vetri Selvi, SP K Pratap Siva Kishore, JC P Dhatri Reddy, State Housing, Information, and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy, and district MLAs inspected a number of development and welfare initiatives being carried out in the district on Tuesday.

More than 90% of the state’s tenant farmers work in the fields to raise food grains, according to Minister Nadendla, who spoke at the conference.

According to him, people are turning to private moneylenders since banks are not giving them loans for farming and they are killing themselves following natural disasters because they have lost all of their crops and are unable to get insurance money.

According to him, new legislation that protects landowners’ rights from the next Kharif is being introduced for the benefit of tenant farmers. The authorities have to take action to offer loan eligibility cards to as many tenant farmers as possible, rather than aiming to supply them to a select minority. According to his statement, farmers who engage in field cultivation would get identification cards, bank loans, remunerative pricing for their produced crops, and insurance reimbursement for crop losses during natural disasters.

The district’s climate is ideal for growing cocoa and oil palm; thus, farmers should be encouraged to do so. According to him, the Chief Minister really intends to finish the Polavaram project within the next three years, which has been the Telugu people’s long-held goal.

He gave concerned authorities instructions to submit the families’ information so that they might get an R&R package related to the Polavaram project.

By introducing greater investments for the construction of enterprises in the area via the new industrial strategy, the minister instructed the authorities to prioritize giving young employment.

According to him, trading free sand is against government policy, and anyone who does so would face harsh consequences.

In order to stop the district’s drug usage, including marijuana, the task force seeks to enhance monitoring. Strong steps should be taken to stop assaults and atrocities against women in addition to maintaining the district’s peace and security.

Minister Nadendla Manohar is a very experienced leader, and Minister Parthasarathy expressed delight that he was chosen to be the in-charge minister of the Eluru district.

At the gathering, District SP Pratap Siva Kishore and District Collector Vetri Selvi also gave speeches.

District Joint Collector P Dhatri Reddy, DRO D Pushpamani, Zilla Parishad CEO K Subbarao, MLC Jayamangala Venkata Ramana, MLAs Badeti Radhakrishnaiah, Patsamatla Dharmaraju, Songa Roshan Kumar, Chirri Balaraju, Maddipati Venkataraju, RDOs K Addaiah, K Achyut Ambarish, Vani, and district officials from a number of departments were in attendance.
