Make these settings in your phone

  • To protect your phone from thieves, you have to make this setting in your phone. For this, first of all open your smartphone, after opening the smartphone go to the settings of the phone.
  • If you scroll a little in the settings, you will see Google's option below, click on Google's option, here you will see two sections, click on the section of All Services.
  • Now if you scroll down a little, you will see the option of theft protection. Here you will be shown two options at the top, the first option will lock theft detection, enable this option.
  • With this, if someone detects your phone, your phone will be locked. In the second option, offline device is locked, if you enable this option, if someone tries to use your phone, your phone will be automatically locked.

Offline Device Lock

The Offline Device Lock feature works when the phone's internet is turned off and it has been stolen. If the phone does not have internet then this function can prevent misuse of the phone.

Remote Lock

The Remote Lock feature directs the phone to android.com/lock link after it is stolen. When you set it up, it will ask for your phone number. You can use this feature with mobile number and security challenge. After the phone is stolen, you can lock your stolen phone through someone else's phone with this feature.
