Issues facing government physicians must be addressed

At the Telangana Government Medical Association’s State Central Executive Committee’s inaugural meeting on Wednesday, members decided to put in a lot of effort to overcome the problems government physicians confront.

Key office bearers, including State President Dr. Narahari, State Chief Secretary Dr. Lalu Prasad Rathod, and State Treasurer Dr. Raoof, were present at the meeting, which was held at the State Office (RFPTC) in Koti. Members of the Central Committee from other districts were also present.

Both Chief Secretary Dr. Lalu Prasad Rathod and State President Dr. Narahari stressed throughout the meeting their dedication to finding solutions for the problems facing government physicians. They committed to bringing unsolved issues to the government’s notice and trying to find answers.

Dr. Rathod said that the registration procedure for members will shortly start. He also mentioned intentions to rebuild Hyderabad’s Vaidya Bhavan so that physicians may soon use it. Furthermore, Dr. Rathod said that new directives from the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (VVP) that assign specialized physicians to Ayushman health institutions violate service regulations.

The conference was also attended by State Secretaries Dr. Raju, Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Muralidhar, and Dr. Kavi Ramesh, as well as State Vice Presidents Dr. Krishna Rao, Dr. Deenadayal, and Dr. Kalyan. Drs. Rajasekhar, Pramod, Vinod, Sudhakar, Loknath Yadav, Karunakar, Ravi, Vidyasagar, and Vijay Shankar were among the other Central Committee members present.
