India's air space is divided into three parts: Green Zone, Yellow Zone and Red Zone. There are different conditions for flying drones in each of these three zones.
remote pilot license
To fly a drone you must have a remote pilot license. This license is obtained after completing training and passing the test.

Talking about this area, you can fly drones here without permission, but to some extent. In this area, you can fly the drone up to a height of 400 feet or 120 meters. To fly a drone at a height higher than this, you will need authority.
