CM Atishi posted on Twitter that the Delhi government is reinstating the bus marshals and civil defense volunteers who were fired recently. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that recently the whole country saw how thousands of people working on contract in different departments of Delhi Government like Delhi Women Commission, Delhi Transport Department, Delhi Government Hospital etc. were fired from their jobs. . Before evicting them, was it not thought that how will the families of these poor boys and girls earning Rs 18 to 20 thousand per month survive? Where will ration come to their house on Diwali?

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Aam Aadmi Party MLAs and Delhi Government ministers are ready to support him shoulder to shoulder. He said that bus marshals were tortured during the conflict. Even the lady bus marshal was not spared. But Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is standing with them. The promise that was made for his reinstatement and the hard work that was put in bore fruit today.

Victory of democracy – Saurabh Bhardwaj

The Cabinet Minister said that today democracy has won. He said that just as the Delhi Government had deployed Civil Defense Volunteers to implement the Red Light on Gaadi Off campaign and to implement Delhi Government programs like Odd Even, now in the same series the Delhi Government is tackling the problem of pollution. All these civil defense volunteers were deployed as bus marshals to deal with and carry out enforcement activities. They will be appointed for the next 4 months. Efforts will be made to reinstate all these civil defense volunteers as bus marshals.

Victory was achieved due to the hard work of the protesters.

Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that today I want to congratulate all those civil defense volunteers, especially all those bus marshals who protested with us near Chandgi Ram Akhara several times. They were dragged along with us on the streets by the central police, sometimes in the Civil Lines police station and sometimes in the Burari police station. All of them were detained along with us and kept locked up. He said that I salute all of them, because of their struggle today hope has arisen in the homes of thousands of civil defense volunteers.
