There is also a suspicion that there will be floods in many areas of Orissa due to Cyclone Chakraborty. There may be floods in Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore districts of Odisha. This is the reason why trees are being cut down in different areas so that they do not harm anyone. 14 districts of Odisha have been declared at risk which include Angul, Puri, Nayagarh, Khordha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Ganjam and Mayurbhanj.
