Serum Institute’s Plan? As per news outlet Moneycontrol and insider sources Serum Institute and TPG appear to be close to reaching an agreement. The Serum Institute is considering selling a major portion (about 40 percent) of its stake in its joint venture to TPG. Interestingly other insiders also affirm this adding that the Serum Institute plans to hold onto a small portion (10 percent) of their joint venture. This move values SCHOTT Poonawalla at a staggering USD 600+ million. Yet official word from neither TPG nor Serum Institute has broken the silence about the ongoing procedures.
