Uttarakhand: Woman used to play Ludo online, lost Rs 50,000 and committed suicide

A surprising news has come from Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand. Here a woman addicted to playing Ludo online has committed suicide. Her husband told that once she had lost Rs 10 thousand and now she lost Rs 40 thousand in one go. Saddened by this, she called them and said that she did not want to live. He ran home, but by then she had committed suicide. Here, the woman's father, who reached the spot after receiving the information, has filed a complaint against his son-in-law for dowry murder.

The matter is near Ward No. 12 Bhauna Colony GGIC School in Bazpur, Udham Singh Nagar. According to the police, preliminary investigation has revealed that the woman was addicted to playing online games. She also often invested money in these games. Her husband told during police interrogation that recently the woman had lost Rs 10,000 while playing online Ludo. At that time he explained a lot to his wife, due to this she kept the mobile phone away from her for a few days, but later she started playing games again.

Woman lost Rs 40 thousand

Meanwhile, on Friday, she once again started placing big bets in online games. But she did not win even once and in the hope of winning next time, she lost Rs 40 thousand. According to the woman's husband, when she ran out of money, she was forced to stop playing, but she immediately called him. Said that she no longer wants to live.

Father filed complaint of dowry death

He also told the reason for this. Before he could try to convince his wife, he disconnected the call. Fearing something untoward would happen, he ran away and reached home, but by then it was too late. On receiving the information, the father of the deceased, Satyendra Kumar Sharma, who lived in Bijnor, reached the spot late in the evening and lodged a complaint with the police alleging dowry murder. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Pallavi Sharma, wife of Anubhav Sharma.
