Meanwhile, Delhi Police has achieved great success. Police have arrested a person in connection with the bomb threat at IGI Airport. It is being told that the name of the person is Shubham Upadhyay. According to the police, the accused had given a bomb threat at the airport through social media just to get attention after seeing similar news on television.

In fact, in the late night of 25/26 October, two suspicious and bomb threatening messages were received at IGI Airport through social media accounts. Due to which there was a stir. In this case, the police registered a case under Section 3(1)(d) of SUA SCA Act 1982 and 351(4) BNS and started investigation.

Threatening accused arrested

During this time, all the protocols were followed, but the bomb threat turned out to be a hoax, which was once again proved wrong. During the investigation, the police came to know that these messages had been sent by a person living in Uttam Nagar of the capital Delhi. Whose name is Shubham Upadhyay. After this, without any delay, the police arrested 25-year-old accused Shubham with the help of manual intelligence and technical intelligence.

Threatened to get attention

When the police interrogated the accused Shubham, he confessed to his crime. The accused told the police that after seeing similar news on TV, he had threatened to bomb the airport through social media just to get attention. Investigation of the matter is ongoing. The police have urged everyone to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
