Even though it adds sweetness to the festival, adulterated khoya is also available in the market which can spoil your health. Many health experts have also pointed out the risk of cancer due to its adulteration.

Adulterated khoya is given as fresh

Nowadays, adulterated things are being found in abundance in the market. In this, adulterated khoya is also chemical free, which contains elements like paper, refined oil, skimmed milk powder, urea, starch, maltodextrin, sodium chloride, detergent, hydrogen peroxide and formaldehyde in large quantities. They are found to be harmful to health. If we talk about this adulterated khoya or sweet, then khoya which has been kept for several days is heated and made fresh and sold. A lot of chemicals are used in it to make it smell good and look real. That means it is considered extremely harmful for the body.

Urea is mixed in sweets

Here adulterated news is found in the market, in which instead of silver work, aluminum work is applied on sweets and sold in the shops. You can identify it when you buy sweets. That is, silver work is applied on the sweets but if you apply aluminum work on the sweets, then it can be identified by the impression it leaves when rubbed with the finger. The sweets available during festivals may be colourful, but they contain chemicals. Apart from being colorful, it is also dangerous. Ordinary colors are also being used in sweets. Colors contain carbon and heavy metals. These harm health. This causes allergies and asthma. If you eat sweets in excess or for a long time, there can be a risk of cancer.
