Pakistani actress Madiha Imam has recently advised young men and women against marrying abroad.

Madiha tied the knot with Moji Basar an Indian from Arunachal Pradesh in May 2023.

In a recent podcast with host Faisal Qureshi, Madiha discussed her industry experiences marriage and personal life.

When asked about her marriage she mentioned “It was my destiny that led to my marriage but now that I’ve tasted it I advise my friends not to marry abroad”

Madiha elaborated “Getting married to someone living abroad isn’t easy because the arguments that two people can resolve face to face in a few sentences can drag on for one to two weeks if they occur over the phone which is very challenging”

She added “While some say that distance can enhance love. I believe that such affection holds no real meaning as it often leads to more conflicts between the couple”

Madiha stated that she and her husband decided to maintain their relationship in a way that minimizes conflicts so that both can pursue their work.

It’s worth noting that after her marriage Madiha faced significant criticism on social media regarding her husband’s religion and nationality.
