The danger looming over Team India, which has never happened in 92 years, has to be avoided in Mumbai.

The last two weeks have proved to be the most shocking for Team India in Test cricket. Team India, which was seen as the strongest Test team in the world, suddenly had to lose the series at home. That too at the hands of New Zealand, a team which had previously won only 2 Test matches in India in the last 60-70 years. Still this happened because history is made by such amazing feats. New Zealand made history but now Team India is facing a crisis which it has not seen in its 92 years of cricket history. This untoward incident can happen in the next Test match to be held in Mumbai, to avoid which Team India will have to make all efforts.

What is this misfortune? What is something that has never happened in the 92 years of Indian cricket but is now in danger? We will tell you about this, first let us tell you what has happened so far in this test series. The first match of the Test series was played in Bengaluru and New Zealand won it by 8 wickets. In the first innings of this match, Team India was bundled out for just 46 runs, which is its lowest score at home. Then within three days in the Pune Test, New Zealand won the series by 113 runs. In this way, for the first time after winning 18 consecutive series since 2012, Team India lost a series at home.

Didn't face clean sweep at home

Now let us come to the danger that is looming over Team India. This is the danger of a clean sweep in the test series. The Indian cricket team has faced clean sweep in Test series many times in its long history, but till date it has not happened that it has had to face this embarrassment in a series of three or more Test matches at home. Till date, in all the Test series that the Indian team has lost on home soil, it has never been swept clean. Either a test match was drawn or Team India won one or two matches. Although in 2000, it had to face a clean sweep at the hands of South Africa, but that series was of only 2 matches.

Will history change in Mumbai?

Now for the first time, it is in danger of a 3-0 whitewash and Mumbai's historic Wankhede Stadium can become a witness to this untoward incident, where many golden chapters of Indian cricket have been written. This last test match of the series will start from November 1, in which there is still time. In such a situation, captain Rohit Sharma and coach Gautam Gambhir will have to fill that spirit in their team again, so that the team comes on the field with the same attitude as before and can save its honor by winning the last match. And also could keep the hopes of the World Test Championship final intact.
