Oct. 28 in Patna Monday is the day that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has set up a meeting at his official home in Patna with the top leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Senior leaders from many groups that support the NDA will be at this meeting, which starts at 11:30 a.m. It will include all NDA MPs, MLAs, 20-point committee chairpersons, and district presidents. Union Ministers may also be there, which shows how important this meeting is.

The meeting, which was revealed by Neeraj Kumar, a JD(U) member of the Legislative Council (MLC), is meant to show that NDA members in Bihar are united.

The main goal is to move forward with campaign planning for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Parties like the JD(U), BJP, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha are working together to make the campaign stronger.

Besides getting ready for the election, the talk will center on how to best tell the people about the successes and plans of the NDA government in Bihar.

This move has also led to rumors that the Assembly elections might happen earlier than planned, though this has not been confirmed officially.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called the important meeting at a crucial time, as by-elections are happening in four Assembly seats across the state. Many see these as a test run for the 2025 Assembly elections.

The meeting brings together supporters of the NDA to deal with new political problems, such as the rise of new political groups like Prashant Kishor’s party and R.C.P. Singh’s planned party formation on October 31.

The goal of the meeting is to coordinate plans to deal with these new competitors and also to talk about problems within the group and threats from the opposition.

The main things that people want to talk about on the agenda are how to make people feel better about policies like banning things and installing smart meters, which have both caused a lot of criticism and become rallying points for the opposition.

Also, some comments made by NDA leaders have sometimes caused problems among the partners, which shows how important it is to have a unified way of communicating.

CM Nitish Kumar will lead the alliance in the 2025 elections, and this meeting is a key step toward getting friends of the NDA to work together for a successful campaign.

The fact that this is the first big meeting of NDA leaders in Bihar since Nitish Kumar joined the party has brought it a lot of interest. The results will probably affect how the NDA plans to strengthen their position in Bihar before the poll.
