Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said Monday that development projects spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had revolutionized Kedarnath ahead of the next by-election in the Kedarnath assembly seat. He went on to say that the state administration has a number of plans in the works to further develop the region.

“Kedarnath has changed as a result of PM Modi’s development efforts. The development of Kedarnath Dham is a priority for our administration.Our attention is on advancement. Our work has been seen by others after the Kedarnath tragedy. For the area, several plans have been accepted,” CM Dhami said.

Regarding Asha Nautiyal, the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Kedarnath seat, Dhami said that Nautiyal has served as Kedarnath’s representative twice before and is aware of the difficulties facing the area.
“Having served as Kedarnath’s representative twice, I have no doubt that Asha Nautiyal will spearhead regional development. We’ll all strive for improvement. The Chief Minister said that Shaila Rani Rawat’s aspirations and pledges will be realized.

Dhami also emphasized the Uttarakhand government’s efforts to promote administrative openness in an attempt to eradicate corruption.

The Chief Minister previously went with BJP candidate Nautiyal to the Kedarnath seat, where the by-election is set to take place, to file her candidacy.

Speaking to a crowd at a pre-election rally, CM Dhami blasted the Congress for encouraging appeasement and corruption.

“Our BJP administration is on one side, while Congress politicians who support appeasement and corruption are on the other. Scams happened every day in a variety of spheres under Congress authority,” he said.

“Our objective is to maintain trust and devotion towards our hallowed locations, whereas Congress propagated false information and created misunderstandings about Baba Kedarnath. The Congress administration disregarded the construction of a temple in Mumbai dedicated to Badrinath. The Chief Minister went on to say, “Baba Kedar would make Congress responsible for their deception.

Dhami said that several development initiatives have already been carried out in Kedarnath and added that the state government would shortly implement stringent land rules.

“Strict land laws will soon be put into effect because our motto is that only the BJP can and will deliver.” I originally promised to serve as Kedarnath’s MLA until a new one was elected, and we have since completed a number of development projects in the city,” he added.
