DA: Before Diwali, these employees have got a big gift, salary will increase

Good news has come for government employees before Diwali, the festival of lights. This news has come from Uttarakhand. Here the government has increased the dearness allowance of its employees. According to the news, the Uttarakhand government has now increased the DA of the employees of the state by three percent. With this, the DA of the employees has increased from 50 percent to 53 percent. The increased allowance will be given by the Uttarakhand government to all regular, full-time, and UGC-affiliated officers from July 1, 2024. The government has decided to pay the arrears of dearness allowance from July 1 to September 30 in cash. At the same time, the allowance will be added to the salary from October 1.

These employees will be given the benefit of an ad hoc bonus.

The employees who were in service on March 31, 2024, and who have served for at least six months will be given a bonus by the government. The state government will provide the benefit of ad-hoc bonuses to the non-gazetted employees of the state, aided educational institutions, local bodies, district panchayats, and daily wage employees for the years 2023-24.

Employees will be given bonus according to their service ratio

This is no less than a gift for the employees here before Diwali. The government will provide bonus to the employees according to their service ratio for service ranging from six months to one year. Temporary and daily wage employees, who have worked at least 240 days every year in the last three years, will also be given bonus by the government. Bonus of employees of economically weaker bodies will be given by their body.
