Border-Gavaskar Trophy: The next few months are going to bring tough tests for Team India. Team India has to tour Australia in November-December for which BCCI had recently announced the team.
BCCI has selected 18 players in the team for this series. This series is also important for Team India because if they want to make it to the final of the World Test Championship, then once again it will be tough.
18 players have got a place in the team for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, but out of them, there are 3 players who will be left only to feed Team India and will not get a chance to play in the team. Abhimanyu Easwaran- Abhimanyu Easwaran is scoring a lot of runs in domestic cricket due to which he has got a place in the team, but the opening pair of Team India is completely set due to which he may not get a chance in the opening.
famous krishna Prasidh Krishna is one of the emerging fast bowlers of India, but due to injury he has been out of the team again and again. Although he got a chance to debut in the South Africa tour, his performance was very poor. Team India has already kept a backup of fast bowlers in the squad, due to which Krishna may not get a chance to play in the team.
Washington Sundar – Washington Sundar is also finding it difficult to get a chance to play in the team. The team includes the pair of Ashwin and Jadeja, due to which Washington may find it difficult to get a chance.
