How to perform Govardhan Puja at home

1. On the day of Govardhan Puja, wake up early in the morning, take bath and worship Lord Krishna.

2. Make a statue of Govardhan Maharaj in the courtyard of the house. Make idols of cow, calf and Braj also.

3. Decorate Govardhan Maharaj and other idols with flowers and kheel.

4. Apply Roli, Akshat and sandalwood to Govardhan Maharaj, then offer milk, paan, kheel batashe and Annakoot.

5. Circumambulate around Govardhan Maharaj seven times with the entire family.

6. Finally, light a ghee lamp and perform aarti.
